Ohhhhhh my GOSH~~~!!! QAQ Thank you so so much sirfuckbasketoflumapet!! This was super awesome, I just love the way you wrote Wheatley and how he struggled with the tests >w< Ohh and his affection to the Companion Cube, it’s just like me when I played it for the first time, haha |D Also GLaDOS snarky comments are awesome hjshfdbbdshlsdddffff I can’t even say how much I love this, it pretty much features everything I love ^0^ Thank you very very much and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
The Secret Door could take you anywhere in the world. Only unlike completely randomised websites that drop you in the middle of the Australian outback, it’s likely to take you somewhere really, really cool.
It dropped me in the Dolphin Cove at SeaWorld Orlando and I got so nostalgic I had to take a walk around ; x ;
I got an artist’s apartment, an antique shop, and an enormous cave. This is easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
I don’t know what this place is but that looks suspiciously like a dead animal on the bed.
It dropped me in an abandoned office building, one that was only recently abandoned… parts of it were falling apart and then I found out it must’ve been somewhere in China, I think? I found a window and outside was all these lovely unoccupied rolling hills and trees, I was all alone, but on the other side was a few more buildings and some construction going on. I looked around, went over a walkway, found a copy machine that looked perfectly usable though most of it looked a bit unsafe, but when I eventually got to the bottom floor I left through the front doors and there were tons of flowers, these large wooden pegs with text on them, and police tape. I hope nothing bad happened :(
yo mine dropped me in an office full of furries
I feel cursed. I got a section of the Amazon River, then an aerial view of snowy mountain peaks, and suddenly I got the remains of a building that seems to have been through a natural disaster. Since the writing is in Japanese I’m pretty sure it got hit with the tidal wave. I’m afraid to see where it takes me next.
Okay this is damn cool. It dropped me right at the south pole.
IT DROPPED ME IN A MINE
I’M STUCK IN A DARK TUNNEL UNDERGROUND WITH CART RAILS
So I have a few questions and I thought maybe someone in the fandom here on Tumblr could help me out.
1. In one of the tears Dr. Pettifog mentions a ‘surgery’ that is going to take place tomorrow and advises Elizabeth to eat. Is there any information or any clues on your side as to what kind of surgery he means? Is it about her abilities, or a ‘classic’ lobotomies/something similar?
2. When she was freed of the machine by Booker so she could use her abilities again the Dr.s at her side disappeared or died, but how? I didn’t really understand this scene. Is there anyone who can help me?
I actually have quite a few characters I don’t like in Bioshock Infinite, which is probably the result of the (in my eyes) poor development or overall information about the Character.
Not because of his poor written character but out of his behavior and his views I dislike Comstock most. The way he treats Elizabeth and others (Wife/Luteces/DeWitt) plus his self-righteousness makes me really dislike him. The more I hear about him on the Voxophones the less I like him.
Second would probably be Jeremiah Fink. I think the game gave WAY too little insight on him, his past and his character. What we learn of him isn’t very much and usually just outright unlikable. I wish we would know a bit more about him. After all he is the number one businessman in Columbia.
I also don’t like the Handyman. They reminded me of the Big Daddies but for some reason, even though I love the Big Daddies I didn’t like the Handymen at all! They had some pretty adorable movements but again we know way too little about them and also I don’t like their anatomy. In the end they felt like a cheap Version of the Big Daddies
I also didn’t like Slate, mostly because of the same reasons I don’t like the others. But at least we learn a little bit about him. Sadly this is ruined by his completely irrational behavior. Sending all his men to die against DeWitt when his real enemy his Comstock feels like just a lame excuse for more fights, which really annoys me.
I think that would be it. Please keep in mind that these are just really personal opinions! I still simply love the game and it’s story and characters.
This one is easy to answer: Rosalind & Robert Lutece! They do count as one character I hope, haha. If not then I’d say Rosalind, because I just get to know more of her through the Voxophones.
I especially like them for their fun antics and their way of speaking and behaving. However their relationship is amazing too! I’m actually not even sure if they’d be my favorite Characters if they were alone. Aside from their cute acting like an old couple I really feel drawn to their closeness and the way they want to be together! It makes me ship them but even as siblings I like them a lot!
Aside from the Luteces I also like Elizabeth a lot as well as Booker and Daisy.
I just feel really sorry for Elizabeth but her cheery attitude made me fall for her right away. I also love how believable she is written, I could identify with her a lot. Her reaction to being freed, the first battle of Booker and the Columbians and her urge to flee from this city are the exact way I’d feel. The Asylum part made her my second favorite Character.
As for Booker, I also liked his believable attitude and his not overly cool reactions to what is happening. The way he often said exactly what I thought made me laugh sometimes. Of course I also like his story.
I have some kind of Hate/Love Relationship with Daisy Fitzroy though. She has a pretty cool Background, also she looks pretty sexy and I think she is a great villain. However the way she became a villain was way too rushed and she turned out to not have a lot of depth when meeting her in person. The Voxophones were so promising.
Honorable Mentions of Characters I liked: Boys of Silence, Songbird & Constance Field
